Description

For Pregnant and Lactating Mothers
Pregnancy Formula is an essential nutritional care for mothers-to-be and is specially formulated with premium ingredients such as DHA, Folic Acid, Iron, Zinc, and Calcium. It provides a good source of protein.

DHA is important for optimal infant brain and eye development. DHA is important throughout pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester when major brain growth occurs. Increasing DHA intake during pregnancy and nursing significantly enhances the level of DHA available to the fetus and infant. Certain studies (some, but not all) have shown that supplementation of DHA in the mother’s diet improves infant developmental outcomes, such as:

– Eye-hand coordination
– Motor skills
– Attention span

Folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects (NTDs) – serious birth defects of the spinal cord (such as spina bifida) and the brain (such as anencephaly). Folic acid is also essential for the production, repair, and functioning of DNA, our genetic map and a basic building block of cells. So getting enough folic acid is particularly important for the rapid cell growth of the placenta and your developing baby.

Important Notice to Parents and Guardians

Artboard 1

Breast milk is the best for babies. The World Health Organisation recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life. Nature One Dairy Pty Ltd fully recognises breast milk’s primacy, value and superiority and supports exclusive breastfeeding as recommended by the WHO.

  • Having a balanced diet when breastfeeding is also important. Baby formulas should only be used after you've sought advice from doctor or health practitioner.

  • A decision not to breastfeed can be difficult to reverse and introducing partial bottle feeding may reduce the supply of breast milk. It is also wise to consider the cost of infant formula.

  • If you use infant formula, all preparation and feeding instructions must be followed as per the manufacturer's instructions. This is important for your baby's health.
